Maker Expo

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Maker Expo on Saturday, June 4! We had a great time. You can find pictures on our Facebook page

Hope to see you next year!

Hands-on fun for all ages!

Meet all kinds of "makers" - artists, engineers, steampunk costume designers, librarians and more - and find out what they do. See demonstrations and try things out yourself with hands-on activities and projects to take home. This family-friendly festival will feature:

  • Lego
  • Weaving
  • Robots
  • Steampunk upcycling
  • 3-D printing
  • Jewelry making
  • Computer coding
  • Printmaking
  • Bookbinding

What is a "Maker"?

Anyone who makes something! A maker builds furniture, or engineers robots, or weaves cloth. A "maker" might make books, computer games, or chocolates. Have you ever made a necklace or built a model spaceship? Then you’re a maker too!

Call for makers!

If you would like to demonstrate or exhibit your work at the Chesterfield Maker Expo for next year just stay tuned for more information.
