Midlothian Library is located in the historic, unincorporated Village of Midlothian. The library is adjacent to the Millworks at the Green Complex, which provides a unique village atmosphere rarely found in a suburban setting. The library serves a thriving residential community and is within walking distance of several county schools, a branch of John Tyler Community College and the YMCA.

The new Midlothian Library will be 25,000 square feet. It will be located on the same site as the current library, which will be removed to make way for the new facility.
The building will close near the end of 2021. Construction should start in early 2022 and last until late spring 2023. The new facility should open in the summer of 2023.

Yes! The new facility will include collaborative study and meeting spaces for in-person and virtual meetings as well as a large community meeting room. The spaces will have state of the art technology to facilitate meetings and collaboration.
