EReaders are steadily rising in popularity with American consumers, as currently almost a third of adults in the United States own either an eReader or a tablet computer. As more and more people get caught up in the eBook excitement, they are slowly realizing that accessing and using eBooks and eReaders might be more expensive than thought.

iHunt: Crack the CCPL Code

In an effort to bring in more traffic, many libraries have started programs that appeal to teens and young adults. "iHunt: Crack the CCPL Code" was an innovative program piloted by Chesterfield County Public Library (CCPL), designed to reach out to the youth population.

eReaders are steadily rising in popularity with American consumers currently almost a third of adults in the United States own either an eReader or a tablet computer. Chesterfield County Public Library’s (CCPL) eBook and audio book lending service, the Downloadable Digital Library, make free eBooks available to library customers, and highlights the need for knowledgeable librarians.
