Starting May 4, 2020, each day on Facebook we will post one chapter from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, read to you by one of our librarians. We will also include a fun craft, activity, or discussion post to go along with the chapter. You can participate as much or as little as you want! We hope you will join us for Wizards and Wands at Home!

Did you know that the name of the book is actually different in England? It is called “Harry Potter and the Philopher’s Stone.” Publishers thought that we would be confused in America and not think it was a book about magic so they changed the name. The Philospher’s Stone and Nicholas Flamel were real.
