This spring, the Friends of Chesterfield County Public Library are proud to offer several fun and engaging opportunities to support the Friends and CCPL.
First, there are several Friends sales coming up in April and May! At all sales, cash and cards will be accepted. Please, no scanning is allowed. Proceeds help support the work of Chesterfield County Public Library.
The Central Friends will hold a book sale Apr. 20-22 at Central Library (link to location). All genres will be offered.
- Thursday, Apr. 20, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Friday, Apr. 21, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Saturday, Apr. 22, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Meadowdale Friends will hold a DVD sale on May 6 at Meadowdale Library (link to location). DVDs will be $2 each. This event is held in conjunction with Spaced Out: Galaxy Day.
- Saturday, May 6, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Friends are also holding the 2nd annual Golf Tournament and Casino Night fundraiser on April 27, 2023, in conjunction with National Library Week (April 23-29). Play 18 holes of golf, take your chances with large and small raffle prizes, and roll the dice at casino night to help make a difference for the children and families of CCPL. All funds will expand specialized 2024 literacy and learning programs across Chesterfield County, fostering a love of reading. You can play or volunteer at the event.
